Through out Delhi there are many small village areas that remain gradually being encroached on by the suburbs of Delhi. In these villages you will see many aspects of live from traditional old trades to cattle and other herds. This village was no exception. It is a flour producing area and we passed a few small mills on our way to the mosque. Indeed when we were driving to the area my driver was getting most confused saying 'You don't want to go down there, its village area', but thats the fun of these tours getting to explore a few different corners of the city.
You
can just see the grain falling from the top hopper into the grinder to make
flour. The man had just filled this bag.

The group made its way down this very narrow street, on the right there were a group of fruit and vegetable sellers, using carts to sell their wares.

A little further round and the corner of the mosque can be seen.
Door
way in an older building.

Taken from the entrance to the mosque village buildings come right up to the road edge.

When we arrived a small herd of local goats trotted through.
