In the evening at the hotel a dance performance with musicians was given. This was in the local Rajhastani form and in traditional clothing which includes a skirt, choti (blouse) and shawl which goes over the head and hangs down the back. The ladies also wear many bangles up their arms, whilst they used to be made in ivory, plastic is now used. As the event was next to the bar, it gave Andy a chance to sample of the martinis from the page long menu of them that were available and a recognition of the James Bond movie made here.
The
performance was in a small courtyard between the foyer and the bar, the
musicians sat on the floor behind the dancers.
