The Mall is the High Street of Shimla with various civic buildings including the Town Hall, Fire Station, Police Station and Gaiety Theatre. Oh and a few shops as well. It is 4 miles long going through the whole town, so we did not walk the whole stretch.

Town Hall
The Police Station on the near left was getting some major renovations, while the next building down is the Gaiety Theatre.
The
Theatre was opened in 1887, and has been home to the Amateur Dramatic Society
since then. Performances are still held.

left fork goes from the Mall up to the Ridge
