The Chalets

This was where we stayed, termed a resort it consisted of five chalet buildings with a variety of accommodation from single room to duplex style and double room cottages.  we had two duplexes with a bedroom and roof addition for extra beds.  The Chalets were built in a European Alpine style, not totally inappropriate given all the surrounding pine trees, but not exactly local.  There was also a swimming pool, games room and restaurant, along with access to the forest.

The chalet that myself, Andy and Judith stayed in.  Not all of it though we had the upper floor and the roof turret where Judith slept.

A side view of our chalet, our floor had the top balcony, so you can see that there were two storeys below us as well.

The tin shack to the left appeared to be the laundry room for the resort's linen.

In the grounds were some hammocks which were very restful, though on one occasion I did have a small group of monkeys wander by.
