The lotus flower is a powerful symbol in many religions, and had particular associations in India. The flower of the lotus is beautiful despite the plant having its roots in dirt. The bloom represents purity of mind and body.
The wheel symbolises the liberation from death and rebirth.
This symbol is for triumph and victory of good over evil, as well as over ignorance.
The conch is representative of the spread of dharma and awakening of sentient beings from their state of ignorance.
