On this road is a site known as Magnetic Hill, it has got its name from an optical illusion. If a car stops and is allowed to roll it appears to be going up hill, ie pulled by a magnet. It actually is going down hill its just the surrounding landscape fooling the eye. However when we stopped and tried nothing seemed to happen.

A little further on and the landscape started to change with a bit more vegetation, and we get a view of our first destination Likir Gompa
