The monastery has a remarkable setting in the remote valley, overlooking the surrounding area. The buildings on the small hill nearby are the monastery's school.

There was a lot of steps to climb to reach the centre of the monastery and the main temple rooms. Belinda was catching her breath we were at over 4000m here.
