This is one of the birdfeeders that we saw on the walk. Like many others it is quite an elaborate construction. This one was built on 1808.

interior courtyard of a Haveli, a multi-occupancy house, where a number of families,
usually related will live. This property had over forty rooms.

the entrance of the Haveli was this old American water pump to draw water from a
well. This has now been superceded by a mains supply.
