After the curling and further air drying the leaves were then fed through a oven for the last drying stage. The oven runs at 110 degrees centigrade, and the leaves go through on a conveyor belt.

The
last stage of processing is to sotr the leaves into different grades, the larger
leaves, the smaller ones and the dust for the tea bags.
Having
a smell of some tea. The way to smell it is to take a small amount, roll
it in the hands, blow over it to give a bit of warm moisture and then take a
sniff.
