The terrain in the park is a mixture of grasslands, ridges and forests. Through the park is the River Ramganga which runs highest during the monsoon season. When low a lot of cobbles are exposed a bit like at the resort.
A
view of a tributary stream of the river, also with lots of cobbles.
A
route for the jeeps to take was laid out over the river bed area.
Part
of the grassland area.
This
picture was taken within the jeep, showing how high the grass is. It is known as
elephant grass as is will hide elephants.

Towards
the end of the safaris the sun was beginning to set giving this ridge a warm
glow.
