There are many camps, hotels and resorts near the reserve as well as a few just inside. The resort we stayed at was just outside the reserve itself and situated along the banks of the River Kosi.

We
had three of the four room in this block which were facing the river.

The bar and restaurant area situated on the edge of the river, yes that is the river beyond just very low at the time.
On
the first night the resort set a bonfire for us in front of our rooms.
