On the Beach

The beach at the cove was a busy and active area, not just with the fishermen but also with wildlife, much of which appeared around dusk.  small sand crabs ran up and down and small clams, revealed by the water would pull themselves back down into the sand.  Also some of the natural detrius of the sea was washed up on to the beach.
